Guitar solos
A fretted or fretless guest guitar solo is currently 300 EUR if composed, recorded and delivered from the ground up. A video recording of the final take is usually included.
Teaching
A 1 hour video-call lesson with Tom is currently 45 EUR. Skype, zoom or messenger calls are all possible. Topics can include everything from guitar techniques, to music theory, compositional techniques, mixing&mastering-techniques.
Creative coaching
This type of coaching is aimed at musicians who find themselves stuck in creative ruts, unable to reach creative goals, dealing with writer’s block, or facing more general issues like depression, anxiety or lack of confidence. It requires a great deal of openness and honesty by the client to be truly effective, but past results have been extremely positive, leading to extraordinary growth in musicianship and career-opportunities. One 1-on-1-session is currently 50 EUR.
Recording/Engineering
Recording with Tom in his homestudio in Berlin is currently 200 EUR for about 8 hours of studio time. Music-production can also be done remotely or in different locations, depending on scheduling and availability.
Mixing
Mixing/mastering of one (1) single song is currently 300 EUR. If it’s an album or EP project with multiple songs, the price per song will usually go down.
Mastering
Mastering of one (1) single song is currently 30 EUR. If it’s an album or EP project with multiple songs, we are usually able to offer deals. Stem-mastering of one (1) single song is 100 EUR.
Side-note: Tom also offers audio-treatment for podcasts or similar formats upon request.
Music Production
The rates for production very much depend on the individual nature of the project and should be discussed in person with Tom, as should be gig-and touroffers as well as masterclass or speaking appearances.
Co-writing/Composition
(Co-writing) of one song/piece is 300 EUR. This can be done either as a collaboration (fleshing out existing ideas by the client) or as commision (i.e.: composing a new piece from the ground up).
String-arrangements
Writing an arrangement for string-ensemble for an existing song/composition is 200 EUR. The resulting string arrangement can then either be programmed in detail to be used in the track or be recorded with either individual string players or ensemble. Upon request, Tom can assist in choosing players, guiding & producing or even mixing the recordings.
